Bleachers Inspection, Maintenance, Repair and Installation
When you’re looking for top quality work, Advanced Woodcraft is here to help. We provide all labor, materials and equipment for annual indoor/outdoor bleacher and grandstand systems. We do inspection and maintenance to ensure continuing safe conditions. Maintained bleachers will reduce emergency work and insurance claims up to 70%. As of January 2007, the Division of the State Architect (DSA), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and the International Code Council (ICC) have collectively adopted new and more stringent guidelines regarding bleacher and grandstand inspection, maintenance, and repair. The Bleacher Inspection Codes are taken from ICC-300 (2012-2017), Standards for Bleachers, Folding and Telescopic Seating and Grandstands, Section 501:501.1-2. Inspections and maintenance are carried out in a systematic manner by trained personnel. We inspect the bleachers annually and provide a written report at such time that the bleachers are fit for use or if maintenance and/or discrepancies are required. This helps identify potential hazards or dangerous design features that should be corrected. Contact Andy to learn more about this and our other available services.
Indoor/Outdoor Basketball Backstop Inspection, Maintenance, Repairs and Sales
We offer inspections for all types of basketball backstop structures in your gymnasium, including wall mounted, ceiling suspended, retractable, side fold, stationary as well as portable units and all outdoor and pavilion mounted units. We physically check every nut, bolt, cable, safety feature, power winch, etc., on the structure to keep it operating properly and safely. Our inspections cover ceiling structure security, winch/hoist operation, cable tension and fraying, safety strap operation, backboard plumb and level, rim resistance and rebound, padding condition and any replacements and/or repairs needed. Our maintenance plan also includes adjusting the backstop to NCAA regulations. After completion of each project, we furnish a written inspection covering code compliance, liability and risk management, mechanical repairs needed and aesthetic possibilities. We prepare and submit to you a detailed report of the services performed and the condition of each structure, along with any recommendations for safety upgrades, repairs or rule change requirements.
Playground Equipment
With any children's play facility it is important to ensure the area is completely safe. That is why regular annual playground inspections are strongly advised. These must be done for all parts of the recreational area including equipment, fencing, surfacing, furniture and any other features. Annual inspections follow the most thorough procedures for testing safety and should be done by a licensed CPSI Inspector. This process looks as risk assessments, long term wear, structural stability, vandalism and design practice. We provide you with a written inspection report. We also install all types of new playground structures. We would be happy to answer any questions you have and talk you through the costs for various maintenance and repair work.
We are licensed and certified by the National Recreation and Park Association. We are certified through Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) Certification #42452-0721. All inspections follow ASTM F1487-17: Standard Consumer Safety Performance Specification for Playground Equipment for Public Use.
